Program Abstract: Collaborative and interactive improvements to the curriculum are required by the nurse educator to increase student engagement and enthusiasm in the online learning environment. The issue of student engagement can be applied in diverse learning environments. The innovative digital gaming tool Kahoot! is used as a diverse methodology to address the issue of student engagement in online nursing education. Implementing Kahoot! as an active gaming strategy provides a collaborative approach to increase student engagement. The incorporation of the evidence-based pedagogical strategy of gaming reinforces student learning and provides a more engaging learning session.
