Program Abstract: Government and industry leaders are calling for diversity in high-skill, high-wage, and in demand CTE and STEM programs and pathways in order to grow today's economy. This presentation will show how enhanced mathematics instruction will not only develop student mathematics and science identities, it will also demonstrate how non-culturally responsive teaching can eliminate barriers to academic achievement for undergraduate students at all levels.
