Ms. Marie Lunie Estimable has over a decade of experience in higher education, serving in both college and university settings. She has a master's degree in public administration with a concentration in public policy. Ms. Estimable has held several positions during her career, including senior academic advisor, grant project coordinator, and educator, providing her with a solid foundation to support student involvement and curriculum creation. She is dedicated to providing meaningful learning experiences and promoting academic success. Ms. Estimable’s experience in advising, teaching, and managing grant projects is consistent with her commitment to improving student outcomes through creative educational techniques.
In her current role as the Grant Project Coordinator, Ms. Estimable collaborates closely with faculty, staff, and external partners to develop workshops and support services aimed at fostering students' interest in STEM fields. She works directly with students, supporting their academic progress and providing guidance on research and career pathways. Ms. Estimable plays a critical role in empowering students and building a sustainable pipeline for future STEM professionals. Additionally, she oversees the budget, manages data collection, and ensures that resources are effectively utilized to create impactful STEM opportunities.
Ms. Estimable has been teaching for over 10 years, utilizing various classroom modalities. Her teaching career began at the very same senior high school she graduated from, where she served as a paraprofessional, helping prepare 9th and 10th graders with physical science and reading for the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT).
Outside of teaching, she is passionate about reading and exercising, promoting a balanced and healthy lifestyle. Ms. Estimable believes that maintaining a balance between work and personal life is essential for her overall well-being.
