Born and raised in Houston, TX, Ashley Cook, M.Ed. is the Director of NSM Undergraduate Advising at the University of Houston. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Texas A&M University and a Master of Education in Higher Education from University of Houston-Victoria. After graduating in 2011, Ashley started as an advising coordinator for University of Houston-Victoria College of Nursing working with undergraduate and graduate students. In 2014, she transitioned to the University of Houston working as an academic advisor for the College of Natural Sciences & Mathematics. Over the past 10 years, Ashley has moved up the ranks from Academic Advisor to Assistant Director and most recently to Director, where she manages a team of 9 advisors.
