Dr. Aleya Dhanji is Physics Faculty at Highline College, Des Moines, WA. In addition to research into culturally responsive team learning, her major focus is on faculty development which she helps lead at Highline in her role as co-chair of the Learning and Teaching Center. Her other projects include designing first year experience courses to better support new students in the STEM pathway, and systemic change for inclusive advising.
