Juliana Marino is a Senior Lecturer, Exercise Science Program Director and academic advisor in the Department of Applied Physiology, Health, & Clinical Sciences at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Mrs. Marino earned her BS in Biology from Mary Washington College (now University of Mary Washington) in Fredericksburg, Virginia and her MA in Exercise Physiology from Adelphi University in New York. She is an American College of Sports Medicine Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist. As the Exercise Science undergraduate program director, Mrs. Marino is responsible for assessment of student learning outcomes, curriculum design, and maintenance of CASCE and CoAES program accreditation. She is currently leading a redesign of the Anatomy & Physiology course sequence, which serves over 1000 undergraduate students each year. Mrs. Marino is deeply committed to supporting both the intellectual and personal development of her students at Charlotte.
