I am Anuneeta Mitra working as a Research Analyst with the Office of Research and Planning at Oakton College. With a Ph.D. in Economics of Education, I specialize in analyzing and interpreting complex data to support institutional decision-making, policy formulation, and strategic planning. My research focuses on understanding the economic factors that influence educational outcomes, student success, institutional effectiveness and focusing on students’ labor market outcome.
In my role at Oakton, I am responsible for conducting quantitative and qualitative research, managing data collection, and performing statistical analysis to inform college initiatives. I collaborate closely with faculty, administrators, and stakeholders to ensure that the data-driven insights they provide align with Oakton’s mission of fostering student success and academic excellence. Ability to translate data into actionable recommendations plays a pivotal role in shaping policies that enhance the institution’s operational efficiency and educational impact.
