Kent Rissmiller. PhD, JD, is the Assocate Dean of the Global School at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. in this role, he directs the Global Projects Program which places about 1200 STEM juniors each year in projects with sponsoring organizations in roughly 55 programs distributed over 35 countries.At these locations students work in interdisciplinary teams on open ended problems, a key element of WPI's commitment to project-based learnng. Rissmiller holds a JD from the Franklin Pierce Law Center at the University of New Hampshire and both MA and PhD, in Political Science from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University. He first joined the Department of Social Science and Policy Studies at WPI in 1988.
