Daniel Martinez

Daniel Martinez, Ed.S., is a seasoned mathematics educator based in Orlando, FL, with over 22 years of experience spanning K-12 and collegiate levels. He dedicated 19 years to K-12 education as a classroom teacher and math coach, covering a range of courses from Algebra 1 to AP Calculus. During this period, he spearheaded district initiatives such as the Calculus Project and a district-wide chess program. Now in his third year at Seminole State College as an Associate Professor of Mathematics, Daniel teaches College Algebra, Statistics, and Mathematical Thinking. He leverages the coaching strategies he developed in his previous roles to enhance the learning experience for his first-year mathematics students.
