Dr. Pallavi Limaye serves as an Assistant Professor in Residence at the Department of Molecular and Cell Biology, University of Connecticut. She teaches both Introductory Biology and Molecular and Cell Biology courses at the Hartford campus. Passionate about creating a welcoming and inclusive learning environment, she collaborates closely with the Hartford campus administration, her department, student support services and the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning to support student success, particularly in her introductory courses. Her dedication to promoting diversity and equity in STEM education was recognized in 2024 when she received the Teaching & Learning Equity Faculty Leadership Fellowship from the Hartford campus. Presently, she is spearheading an initiative to bring together the Hartford campus faculty to form “The Teaching Lab”, a faculty learning community dedicated to exploring inclusive teaching frameworks and enhancing student engagement.
