Dr. Jessica Santangelo is a Professor of Biology at Hofstra University. She earned a BS in Zoology (Auburn University) and a PhD in Zoology/Ecology & Evolutionary Biology (Cornell University). Dr. Santangelo's research focuses on transforming the undergraduate STEM experience within and beyond the classroom through interdisciplinary and interinstitution collaborations. She leads two NSF-funded projects addressing the STEM student experience: the Integrated Achievement and Mentoring (iAM) Program and the (STEM)^2 Network.
