Program Abstract: This session explores the positive learning gains that simulated environments have on non-traditional students, Veterans and adult earners and active military through early engagement with autonomous and uncrewed systems. We will discuss best-practices to increase students’ commitment to STEM pathways by offering access to hands-on activities through simulators that can increase connections to collaborative learning and real-world experiences.
