Developing Experiential Learning Cell Therapy Course with Industry Partnership

Program Abstract: Through our partnership with Kite Pharma, a biopharmaceutical company specializing in cell therapy, we developed an experiential learning course titled Cell Therapy. The main goal of this course is to not only provide graduating biology seniors with knowledge about biomedical advances, but more importantly to provide them with biotechnology work-force validated skills, and the experience to be trained by employees from Kite Pharma and learn about the day to day work of a cell therapy specialist.
